One of the first things a good DJ should do when they arrive at a venue after setting up is look at the space.
We look at the age of our audience first. If you are doing a 50th wedding anniversary where people and family have not seen each other for a long time you don’t want to be blasting them with music from the very start.
Foxys Disco with arrive at your event appropriately dressed for your occasion allowing at least a 1 hour before your start time in order to ensure your event starts at the agreed time.

We have one of the best music libraries in the South East with over 100,000 tracks on our digital hard drive system. From the 1940’s right through to the very latest in chart and club music.

The search for the right DJ for your wedding reception can be difficult and sometimes confusing. How do you choose? we have been professional wedding DJs for many years now and our best advice is to find someone who will take time to carefully listen to your ideas and then help advise as how this can be best achieved. we always offer wedding clients the opportunity to meet and spend as much time as they need to feel confident about their decision. A wedding is probably the most important event in a person’s life,
so at Foxy Disco have extra care to ensure that
you get only the best to suit your reception perfectly.
Our Wedding Djs understand that you will want your day to be perfect,
so we are more than happy to discuss your requirements and
expectations in detail to ensure that you are 100% happy and confident

Foxys Djs are professional and have years of experience and we always encourage you to provide us an idea of the musical styles or specific music that you love
and we can then use our experience to blend these into the reception to ensure that your evening is everything you dreamed of it would be.
We as a professional service will introduce the bride and groom for the first dance of the evening we will then at only your request play your chosen song.
We will need to know in advance at what time you expect to have your first dance as a newlywed couple.
Traditionally for the second dance of the evening the bride’s father or whoever has given the bride away will be asked to join the bride on the dance floor and the groom’s mother (if present) will be asked to join her son.
The best man and the chief bridesmaid will be introduced soon after followed by the introduction of the remaining members of the wedding party.
To enhance your evening we will discuss with you all of your musical requests. If you would like background music to be played while your guests are arriving
we can play a selection of your favourite songs building to a full dance floor once your first dance has been completed.
At agreed points during the evening your wedding dj will be happy to announce the cutting of the cake, also turning off all the Disco lights so others can take lovely pictures, and usually at a later point in the evening we will invite all the single ladies onto the dance floor to participate in catching the bride’s bouquet.
In addition to this we will also announce the buffet is ready only at your request again,
Also if asked the bride and groom leaving the reception (if appropriate) or at anytime though out the night.
Whether your wedding reception is being held in a Hotel Function Room, Marquee, village hall or a stately home we can be of assistance providing music, wedding djs and even event lighting.
Before quoting for the cost of our services for the reception we will discuss the venue details to ensure that the right equipment is in place for your evening.
We can provide small unobtrusive but powerful high quality sound systems for your ceremony. The music of your choice will be played to mark the key moments during your wedding ceremony making the memory of your celebration so much stronger. Outside? No problem, we can also supply battery powered speakers and lapel microphones so that even in open spaces, every word can be heard.
There are any number of options you might decide is right for your night and there are several ways in which we can help. Ceremony music, radio microphones and PA systems for speeches and much more.
Mood Up-lighting can add drama and extra atmosphere to a room and make your venue even more special.
